Hope you are staying safe and healthy. Thank you for taking
time out of your day to check out Proyecto_Protect.
Like many of you, my summer plans got canceled due to COVID-19, so I thought I’d continue
my artistic hobbies this summer in a way that might help support Black communities being disproportionately affected by the pandemic and those on the front
lines fighting COVID-19. With that in mind, I started Proyecto_Protect, an
online shop.
After a lot of trial and error, I have been able to create
products out of my art that are not only trendy and affordable, but that keep
our community in mind. 50% of proceeds go towards securing and
distributing PPE to hospitals across the country and supporting Black communities during the pandemic. I hope you enjoy the items
I’m currently offering. The plan is to expand the number of designs (I would
like to include some in Spanish!) and the type of apparel available over the
next couple of weeks.
